Frequently asked questions

Is coherent ZR the same as short-reach DR4 or FR4?

No. Coherent inter-site transmission and short-reach data center optics require different link information. Keep the requirements separate when requesting quotations.

Can reach be confirmed from the module name alone?

No. The actual route, optical line system, mode and endpoint specifications must be reviewed.
